who do people think should do the world cup song for england? I suspect that whoever does it, it will be a bit rubbish. It's a difficult thing to pull off, I think three lions is the best ever by a mile, I'm not sure everyone would agree though! Perhaps someone like Kasabian?

what about using an old britpop classic like "Dont look back in anger"!! soz, can you tell that im a bitter scotsman!! in all seriousness i do think that using the lightning seeds was class for a football song, was a great song and i dont think that anything will get anywhere near as anthemic as that song for the world cup.. my bet goes on 'girls aloud' x

There were rumours it was going to be Kaiser Chiefs, but they've apparently ruled themselves out now. Whatever it is will not top Three Lions, or probably even Vindaloo. I've got a feeling it might be someone like McFly... Or maybe Chico...
What time is it?... It's England time. Or something equally crap

So it's Embrace, and the track is called 'World At Your Feet', It's Embrace, so I'm pretty sure we can all imagine what it sounds like without having to actually hear it

hmmm, the choice of embrace couldn't be much less exciting, could it? think we may have repeat of that echo and the bunnymen one from '98 on our hands here, at least this one doesn't feature the spice girls though. I reckon the chances of it being sung on the terraces are about zero- they struggle to write memorable tunes anyway, never mind terrace anthems. Time to dig out my copy of three lions...

they should get john barnes to rap again, like he did on 'world in motion'. it'd be immense.
